If a wedding at home and reception in a coffee shop don’t make you feel all warm and cozy inside, I don’t know what will. Oh wait, yes I do! This sweet love story!
Keep scrolling for a sneak peak and read what Audra had to say about it all!
How did you two meet?
Justin and I met at work. We both work in the athletic department at Tech. I knew him for a few years before we started dating.
How long have you known each other?
How did he propose?
On a hike in Steamboat Springs, CO last July. One second we are hiking, the next he’s pulling a ring out of his pocket. LOL.
What do you love most about him?
Justin is like the weight at the bottom of a balloon on a string. I am the balloon. He keeps me grounded, but still let’s me be me. I float around without a care in the world and he reminds me that I’m an adult. Ha.
What does he love most about you?
That I am spontaneous and keep things fun. I make him try new things and step out of his comfort zone.
What is something you’ve learned about him since being married?
What real real love is. Unconditional, perfect-for-each-other love. There is no other person on the planet for me, I know it. He’s my penguin.
What was the inspiration behind your wedding?
It was my second marriage. I just wanted everything to be easy. I love dark colors and specific flowers. I knew I wanted everything dark and romantic. Michelle knew exactly what I meant and executed perfectly.
What are three tips you have for future brides?
1. Hire a wedding planner. It seems like a wasted expense, but that person will do all the worrying day of and keep everything straight so you can enjoy your day.
2. Pinterest all your ideas!
3. Don’t break the bank. Your wedding is once in a lifetime, I know, but cut back where you can. You won’t regret it, and maybe you can take a bomb honeymoon or put it towards your first house (something you will enjoy everyday!).
