I wanted to start my post off with this picture, because I feel like it totally encompasses the true joy of a bride and her father on her wedding day! It’s really just the sweetest picture! Thank you to Caitlin and Ryan Photography for capturing this precious couple!
I met Amanda almost a year ago and was super impressed with her ahead-of-schedule-planning abilities! Other than the thought that she’d make a beautiful bride, I remember thinking, “Dang! This girl is on top of it!” She had a vision and went with it. I loved meeting with her and knew we were a good fit after our first consultation.
Their big day was held at Gurss Barn in Lubbock, Texas at the beginning of June. This property is covered in trees, has a great guest house for the bridal party to get ready in, an extensive reception hall with a full-service kitchen, and this gigantic pergola that took one of the biggest ladders I have ever seen to put flowers on!
She knew she wanted bright colors and we were so excited to deliver! Her bouquet was made of peonies, ranunculus, roses, succulents, and greenery.
I loved her shots with her bridal party! You could tell that they had such a blast together!
The reception was so cute, with succulents and really simple flower arrangements on the tables. The cake was my favorite part (duh, because cake is awesome). I loved her vision for these stacked boxes with flowers on them, too!
Despite the crazy Lubbock wind and the warm day, this wedding was one of the most perfect and vibrant I’ve done! I love seeing our brides happy and was grateful to be apart of Amanda and Cody’s day!
